Organization Profile

The Centre for Promotion of India-China Cooperation (CPICC) is a Society, established for promotion of bilateral ties and relation between India and People’s Republic of China. Registered Office of the Society is in Kolkata while the Members are from around the Country.

Some of the Specific objects for which Centre is established are:-

 a) To further the development of all kinds of economic cooperation between India and the Peoples Republic of China.

 b) To further the development of culture, tourism, education, research, energy, public relations, urban development, infrastructure, communication, scientific exchanges and in general co-operation between India and the Peoples Republic of China in all fields and areas.

 c) To promote the mutual interests of India and the Peoples Republic of China, to promote friendship between the Government and people and generally to encourage and facilitate cooperation between two Countries in different fields.

 d) To aid, promote and /or establish the formation and or establishment of joint ventures, forums, councils, associations, collaborations, organizations, Memorandum of understandings, exchanges, studies based on collaboration/cooperation between India and the Peoples Republic of China, on cultural affairs etc.

 e) To organize establish forum/forums for discussion and deliberation of matters and problems and undertake promotions of matters and problems and undertake promotions relating to the mutual interests of Members, by organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, studies, exchanges, fairs, exhibitions, conclave and meetings carry out and/or assist in research/study in India and the Peoples Republic of China and other Countries.

 f) To ma ke representations to Government in regard to matters affecting relations between two Countries including trade, commerce and manufacturing and all other areas of interests and concern of its Members.

 g) To make or produce various kind of publication of news, journals, books , periodicals, studies , documentaries, films etc. in the matter of interest of India and/or Peoples Republic of China and or relating to India and/or Peoples Republic of China in print and or electronic or any other form without any profit making motive.
